The Chairman's Chirp
A lot has happened since the Nationals and Old Parks bowlers continue to perform well. Chris Rogers and Gary Austin after being messed around by East Gauteng Association went on to play in the last 32 of the Black and White Pairs and pulled off an excellent win to proceed to the last sixteen where unfortunately they were beaten by the narrowest of margins by one of the sides that reached the semi-finals. It really was good to see so many supporters who took the trouble to go out to Edenvale to watch the games. Well done to the "Lighties".
Bowls section news
The Bowls section has enjoyed reasonable success over the first five months of 2012.
